Alpine broke a 1-1 tie with three runs in the sixth inning, added four in the seventh and scored twice in the ninth.
Chace Sarchet went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a stolen base, while
Caleb Davidson was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two doubles.
Seth Douglas also had two hits, and
Trey Silmon drove in two runs.
Lance Myers added an RBI.
Garden City scored once in the fourth and once in the sixth.
Jonathan Tasis had three hits, and D. Williams hit a home run while driving in a run.
