The 2024 Garden City Wind season featured outstanding individual performances on the mound and at the plate as the Wind put together one of the strongest seasons in the Pecos League.
Garden City featured a deep roster that included Dominic Enbody, Aric Vasquez, Jordan Williams, Robert Morosetti, Pierce Khan, Zach Elias, Colton Adams and Zane Bandfield. On the mound, Jake Norris, Sam Katz, Brandon Vegas, Gavin Peterson, Nico ODonnell and others gave the Wind a deep pitching staff.

Jake Norris - Six No Hit Innings and 12 Strikeouts
Jake Norris delivered one of the most dominant pitching performances of the Garden City season against the Roswell Invaders on June 10.
Norris worked
six no hit innings and struck out
12 batters as Garden City defeated Roswell 7-2.
Norris faced 27 batters and did not allow a hit or a run during his six innings. He walked five while throwing 120 pitches, with 65 going for strikes.
The performance earned Norris the victory and lowered his ERA to 1.50 at that point in the season.

Jordan Williams - Three RBI Game Against Roswell
Jordan Williams supplied much of the offense behind Norris in Garden City's 7-2 victory over Roswell.
Williams went
2-for-5 with three RBIs and a run scored.
Both of his hits went for doubles, and Williams also stole a base.
His three RBIs represented half of the six runs credited to Garden City batters in the victory.

Aric Vasquez - Three Runs and Two Stolen Bases
Aric Vasquez created offense throughout Garden City's victory over Roswell.
Vasquez went
2-for-3 with three runs scored and a walk.
He doubled, was hit by a pitch and stole two bases, reaching base repeatedly and putting himself in position to score.
Vasquez scored three of Garden City's seven runs.

Dominic Enbody had an unusual and extremely productive offensive game against Roswell.
Enbody had only one official at-bat but reached base
five times.
He went
1-for-1 with four walks and a run scored. Enbody also stole a base.
The performance demonstrated his ability to control the strike zone and create scoring opportunities without needing to swing the bat.

Pierce Khan - Two Hit Game Against Roswell
Pierce Khan added another multi-hit performance to the Garden City offense against Roswell.
Khan finished
2-for-5 with an RBI.
